We gotta give Anne Hathaway credit … the actress and her husband actually did something pretty funny Friday in NYC.
The 31-year old and her hubby Adam Shulman took their dogs for a walk — and they were clearly expecting paparazzi to go along for the ride.
Anne pimped some of her favorite websites — girleffect.org. feedingamerica.org and worldofchildren.org — and Shulman wished everyone a happy 4th. They even gave Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone credit.

She’s a full genius. She has found her genius and is giving it all so fully and beautifully. I think everyone who works with her, brushes shoulders with her, or even makes eye contact with her, gets a shot of sunshine.

When Emma was supporting Andrew at an Worldwide Orphans Foundation event, which he is Ambassador of Sport, and they wore these fake glasses. And, of course, she was also supporting the cause.

I had the general bullying experience where there was a kid who wasn’t very happy and he threw his weight around. He targeted me because I was skinny and thin-skinned and he knew it. It is really interesting, though, what you perceive as your wounds can later on turn into the biggest gifts you have. At the time, I was like, ‘Man I’ve got to toughen up, get a thicker skin,’ whereas in fact, being sensitive and thin-skinned and all the things I still am, lends itself to a career as an actor. Also, if it weren’t for that bully, I wouldn’t have found Spider-Man. That’s why I got so lost in the comics and the cartoon series. I would fantasise about being him, and I would fantasise about him coming to beat the crap out of my bully.

The Oscar Winner Dante Ferretti, guest at the Taormina Film Fest (Sicily, Italy), reported during an interview about his collaboration with Martin Scorsese for ‘Silence’, Andrew’s next project.
R: What about Scorsese’s movie?
DF: It will be called ‘Silence’. Martin is thinking about this film for 15 years. It’s inspired by a novel by Shusaku Endo. The story is of Jesuits in Japan in the 17th century, who fought to spread Christianity. Christians, in Nagasaki in 1633, were persecuted and tortured, unless they were killed (cut to pieces).
R: What is the most fascinating aspect of Japan?
DF: Sushi! Just kidding. The biggest challenge will be to recreate Japan in the 17th century. We recreate Nagasaki inside the film studios, in Taiwan. Then we will shoot in various locations on the sea, by the end of the year.

No matter how buried it gets, or how lost you feel, you must promise me, that you will hold on to hope. Keep it alive. We have to be greater than what we suffer. My wish for you is to become hope. People need that. And even if we fail, what better way is there to live?
